Success story: interview with the winners of the Formula Everad contest

On October 29th, Everad provided a big draw among the TOP-100 of the best affiliates in the final of the second race of the Formula Everad contest. The owners of the new car are the webmasters from the TigerLeads team. Fortune smiled upon the team twice – the ID of the team was pulled out during the draw of additional prizes and then during the car draw.

The winners of the second race were our guests during the weekly stream. They told us about their career in affiliate marketing, and plans for the 3d race. Of course, the members of the team shared some tips and secrets of success.

Yehor: Congratulations once again! You are really lucky men! During the draw you got AppleWatch and later you won the main prize – Audi A6. Could you tell us about your feelings when you realized that you have won Audi?

Artem: The first thought was to be the first to raise up the hand in Zoom. It was an incredible variety of emotions, but we have planned to win the car! I don`t know why but we were sure that this car would become ours.

Yehor: How many Evers did you cash out?

Yulian: It was about 22 000 points.

Taia: How long are you in affiliate marketing? Are you working together or you have a big team?

Yulian: We have a team – TigerLeads. Artem and I have been working with Everad since 2016.

Yehor: What other sources did you use? Which niches to choose?

Artem: Yulian works with myTarget. We also checked push ads. All the sources and niches are the same as 4 years ago.

Yehor: Did you like the online event? Would you like to visit the offline draw, if the borders were open?

Yulian: We would like to visit the event! However, the online format is really convenient, as Artem was able to be present.

Artem: There are two sides. On the one hand, an offline event is really cool, interesting, etc. On the other hand, online is more convenient.

Taia: Could you name one Everad offer that was really useful?

Artem: All the European offers that your manager provides you with. There are a large number of offers but we drive traffic to East Europe and there is not so much to choose from. If you have good creatives you can have a better result than I do. My creatives are not so good. Honestly, it’s very individual.

Even in our team, the same combos may show different results while used by different members of the team. I think everything depends on the partner program, Geo, and traffic. In Everad you have a really good approval rate so my advice is – use information that your manager gives and you will get a profit.

Many people think that affiliate marketing is not a job, they think it is some kind of magic. However, we all do our job here.

Yehor: When did you understand that ordinary work is not for you?

Artem: Affiliates are not factory workers who made a decision one day to change their lives. If I had enough money I would not work. For the present, I do not have this amount so I continue to work. This month you may get millions and next month you may be in the red. Then you count straight averages to understand the profit. There is no magic. We work to develop. A team is a living organism, so you always need to make investments.

Taia: How do you assign responsibilities? Who will get the Audi?

Artem: We assigned responsibilities at the very beginning. I work with the traffic and Yulian works with other questions. Audi is a kind of profit.

Yulian: Yes, it is a profit! Artem is the team leader of the Facebook department. It is his department who got Audi.

Yehor: Do you like to work with targeted ads or context? It is myTarget, Facebook, and teaser ads in the CIS. Am I right?

Yulian: It is myTarget and, sometimes, Facebook…

Artem: When you work with Facebook, you have not much to do. You need to drive traffic and watch. It is more interesting to work with other sources, but if we speak about money, it is more profitable to work with Facebook.

Yehor: I would say that in Russia free of charge is on the top. Speaking about Asia, you should choose cheaper GEO, to test traffic. It can be Indonesia. Click is cheaper there, optimization is also cheaper and there will be new offers soon. If you understand the country’s mentality, then you can scale, combos work longer because of the number of people in the country.

Yehor: Do you use an additional monetization?

Artem: We only use additional monetization for the landing pages.

Yehor: Did you test TikTok?

Artem: Yes, we did. We started running traffic, but it was not successful.

Yulian: I ran traffic to weight loss offers in CIS. At first, everything was okay, ROI was 300. But later accounts were blocked and we stopped the test. It is not easy to advertise Nutra in TikTok. I think you may choose financial niches or dating.

Taia: Where do you buy consumable items?

Artem: It depends… If you know where to find a good proxy, good account, and BM and how to put everything together, then you have a really good Facebook tool. It does not matter where you buy it. We use proxies from ASTROPROXY. The best variant is to find something that will work for you. The best variant is to have a farm account.

Yehor: Do you use spy tools?

Artem: We use spy tools but not for Facebook. We are not interested in our rival’s campaigns. Advertising material is of questionable quality. We use spy tools for inspiration.

Yulian: We use spy tools for teaser networks.

Yehor: What do you usually use pictures or video creatives?

Artem: Yulian prefers videos. But I do not use video creo at all. I noticed that I have worse results. My team usually uses images.

Taia: Where do you find inspiration for creos?

Artem: Sometimes it can be ridiculous. We google – “something strange” and use it. I don`t understand when somebody orders creatives from side companies. How could I explain what I really need? Just use Photoshop, create a picture, and use it!

The most difficult thing is to start. It will be easier if you do the first steps in affiliate marketing in a team.

Yehor: Could you advise an anti detect browser except for Indigo?

Artem: We use AdsPower – a Chinese anti detect browser. It is really convenient, has more advantages than Indigo, and AdsPower is cheaper.

Taia: Are you members of any private community? Could you name any public figure?

Artem: We are members of the private community “Teaser tales”. I think that each person in this community is a public figure. I`ve heard about some communities where you can find some information but I am not an adherer of the conspiracy theory, so I am not looking for such communities.

Yehor: What cloaking method for Facebook is useful now?

Artem: It is the same as one year ago. There are a variety of cloaking methods. The main are local white, constructor, and direct.

Yehor: Are you looking for new team members?

Artem: We are looking for some people for our office in Saint-Petersburg. We are always ready to contact and communicate. We do not have active recruitment now, but if you are talented, please contact us!

Yehor: Do you use anything for automation?

Artem: We do not use automation at all. We use anti detect, Keitaro, IM KLO, and Fb tool. I think this set of tools is enough to start a Facebook campaign.

Yulian: We wanted to use Dolphin, but we didn’t find the necessary characteristic.

Taia: Did you work with the install?

Artem: Yulian has more experience, I usually work with Nutra. We made an attempt with gambling, but it was not so good. It was an urgent action while facing problems with Facebook.

Yehor: What domains do you use?

Artem: We use new domains. We buy one and work with it. We even have not tested trust domains.

Yehor: Could you give advice to the newbies? How to start?

Artem: Do not start as a solo player. The best variant is to start your career in a team.

Yulian: Do not start as a solo player on Facebook! There are a lot of networks, where you can start with a low budget. Look for cheap traffic, unpopular GEOs, and test push ads.

Your ads should convince them to make an order.

Artem: An ideal scheme is to join the team. The most difficult thing is to start. It will be easier if you do the first steps in affiliate marketing in a team. You do not need to pay for consumable items, you do not need to exert yourself. You will get the same profit working in a team and as a solo worker. However, work in a team is more convenient.

Don`t forget to think about your audience when you create your ads. People always even do not understand what they really want. Your ads should convince them to make an order. And call center workers will convince them to buy the product.

Taia: Have you ever tried push ads? What network could you advise?

Artem: We have worked with some networks, but we got unsatisfactory results. That is why I will not advise any network.
